Norma Delp, M.A., M.S. in Organization Development

Norma Delp has significant experience in Organization Development, Training, and Human Resource Management. Norma specializes in performance management, culture change, conflict resolution, leadership development and general human resource and organization effectiveness projects. Co-founder and Owner of Signal Tree Resolutions, Norma designs and delivers consulting services to corporate entities, communities, and non-profits. Ms. Delp holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace College in Psychology and Business (1983), a Master of Arts degree from The University of Akron in Organization Psychology (1997), and a Master of Science Degree from Case Western Reserve University in Organization Development (1987). She has also earned a certificate in Life Span Development and Gerontology. Norma has served as Vice President of ASTD, co-founder of the OD Connection (Cleveland Chapter of the OD Network), member of Toastmasters International, Board Member of Cleveland Neighborhood Counseling Service, Board Member of Harbor Light, a Salvation Army entity, and as an officer of the The Society for Human Resource Management and currently supports a variety of non- profit endeavors.

Christine Belz is the founder and President of Belz Associates, Inc. Established in 1988, Belz Associates, Inc. is a human resource consulting firm specializing in the design and implementation of compensation systems and the development and delivery of individual and team development processes to improve organizational effectiveness.

Prior to forming her own firm, Christine served as Director of Compensation Benefits for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she designed and installed a new compensation system for 500 exempt professional employees and developed a variable performance pay system for 6,000 non-exempt employees. Dr. John Bertschler

Dr. John Bertschler is co-owner of Northcoast Conflict Solutions (1996-present). He has been working in the mental health field since 1977 and is a mediator, psychologist and certified Critical Incident Stress Management intervener. In April, 2009, John co-authored the book Elder Mediation: A New Solution to Age-Old Problems.

In his therapy practice, John specializes in crisis intervention, mood disorders, marital and relationship issues, parent-child issues, and life transition issues. John has lectured in psychology at North Texas State University and Lakeland Community College. He has also received national training in Critical Incident Stress Management which takes him to employees traumatized by bank robberies, suicides and untimely deaths/accidents.

As a mediator, John specializes in divorce, family and elder mediation, and organizational conflict resolution. He has taught mediation and conflict resolution at Case Western Reserve University, at Notre Dame College, Cuyahoga Community College, and through Northcoast Conflict Solutions. Dr. Bertschler has logged over 150 hours of mediation training and continuing education.

Patricia Bertschler

Patricia Bertschler, co-owner of Northcoast Conflict Solutions is a trained mediator, professional clinical counselor in the State of Ohio (1992 to present, #E1638) educational trainer, and co-author of TRUCE! Using Elder Mediation to Resolve Conflict among Families, Seniors, and Organizations (©2004), Elder Mediation: A New Solution to Age-Old Problems (©2009) and 88 Tips for Shy Introverts (@2010). Patti has a regular column in the Cleveland Women’s Journal and is also its Copy Editor.

In her therapy practice, Patti specializes in wellness for women in transition, assertiveness training, relationship issues, eldercare, post-abortion syndrome, low-grade trauma, and conflict resolution. She has spoken extensively on topics related to behavioral health and conflict resolution to groups such as The Ohio Association of Senior Centers, Case Western Reserve University, John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, The Center for Applied Gerontology at Cuyahoga Community College, Parma Community General Hospital, The National Conference of Professional Minorities in Alternative Dispute Resolution and many local healthcare facilities. She collaborates with Signal Tree Resolutions and other NCS affiliates on organization development and team building projects.
